Breakfast was very good, and the Carousel bar and roof top pool bars were excellent. The staff were attentive and kind.
We booked into this hotel as a special treat for our honeymoon in New Orleans. After paying extra for an upgrade, we were given a very small, cramped, dark room with a painted over window.

The location in the French Quarter drew me in right away. Just a short walk from Bourbon Street, yet away from the noise. The lobby welcomed me with fresh flowers, and the ambience reminded me of stepping back in time. My room had high ceilings, a spacious layout, and all the expected amenities. I had a hiccup with the valet service. They mixed up the key for my Tesla, resulting in a frustrating hour and a half wait to retrieve my car. Staff were friendly and tried to help, but the communication breakdown was disappointing. Luckily, my experience at the rooftop pool made up for it. The pool area, while a bit crowded, offered a relaxing vibe after a long day exploring the city. The bartenders by the pool could be quicker though, and I found the drinks a bit overpriced. The breakfast at Criollo was a highlight, with attentive service and delicious options. Despite some bumps in the road, my stay was enjoyable, mixing history with comfort, and I appreciated the staff's efforts throughout.

It was nothing great but it was acceptable in every way.
Room service doesn't arrive until 6:30 am...I Was leaving without breakfast by then. Internet service was spotty and unreliable. It should be free by the way for a room that costs $240/night. One of the bartenders was fairly rude as well.

The room was very clean and the location is perfect for a trip to the nightlife of New Orleans.
The hotel staff is impolite, outrageous and makes you understand that if you don't book directly through the hotel, you have no guarantee that you will get the room you booked. Guests who have made the reservation directly with the hotel are preferred, we had a room with 2 beds and we asked for double beds. When I showed my reservation confirmation to the lady at the reception where it said "2 double beds" she didn't care and she explained to me that the next time I should reserve directly via the hotel reception otherwise the reservation isn't worth anything - you just get what is left!

The lobby was fine with beautiful chandeliers and warm decor. It felt easily accessible for seniors, with thoughtful ramps and friendly staff eager to assist.
More comfortable seating options in public areas.
